I love, love, LOVE the folks over at Television Without Pity. Just got done reading this week’s recaps of Joe Millionaire and American Idol, and I can’t wait to see the next installment of each.

I don’t know if it’s good or bad news for you Millionaire fans, but tonight’s episode is not going to be the dramatic finale. The finale will be next Monday, the 17th, and it looks to be a 2-hour extravaganza of crapulence. The first hour will be a recap of the events so far, and the second hour should have some serious soul searching and brain-injuring thought from America’s favorite dullard playboy. And as if that weren’t enough, the following Monday, the 24th, there will be a retrospective show, some sort of “look back” on the television juggernaut that is/was Joe Millionaire.

So I have Joe on Monday, the Idol kids on Tuesday, the Idol results show Wednesday, and the newest series of Survivor premiering on Thursday. It’s going to be so totally different this year; the tribes are divided by gender! It’s a boys v. girls free-for-all!

I may actually end up watching four or five hours of TV this week. Amazing!
