Don't miss seeing "Airborne" in which the young Californian Mitchell Goosen is displaced to Cincinnati while his parents are in Australia. This is the ultimate in cheesy teen romance - it is the "Youngblood" of rollerblading!

Thinking. It's always the same thing. To think is to go insane.
.
Yes, it's a spam comment for an ATV tire site. But ... it's at least intriguing. ~M

Of course! In fact, I dragged Scott to see it when it came through Seattle again a few years ago. They changed so many of the songs, which was a disappointment. But it was still cheesy and corny.

PS: Andrew Lloyd Webber. :)

Do you happen to remember all of us going to see the Frank Lloyd Webber play STARLIGHT EXPRESS? Cause it was all on roller skates.

THIS is a magical network, full of terrible wonderful movies. Just tonight I recorded How to Beat the High Cost of Living, which will probably be awful. But I remember it being a hoot when I was a kid.

I love Solar Babies! I am kind of upset that it is all the way in the year 2010, and I did not spend the majority of my youth in a dystopia based orphanage were I was not told of the outside world, but was allowed to Rollerblade. Sigh, such is life.

I love the fact that the screen grab from the movie has the THIS logo in the corner. If it was not for that network, I would never get to see "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad World" and other fine works of cinema.....and "Commando."

As for other skating recommendations. If Solar Babies reflects the type of film you are talking about, I highly recommend the Skater trilogy of one
Donald Jackson. He made a trio of bleak teen rollerskating in a bleak future films (one of which features Cory Feldman, and another that has a gang of topless nuns that worship a giant smiley face), but I digress. They can be hard to find, but Netflix might have them.
